  • Rev. Amit Karthak, Principal

    Department: Theology

    Rev. Amit Karthak is a pastor at Cross-Way Church in Lalitpur. He holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Dehradun, and a Masters in Theology from Calvin Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids. In addition to his pastoral role, Rev. Karthak serves as the principal of Reformed Presbyterian Seminary and teaches Theology as a professor. He is happily married to Mrs. Reshma and they have three children named Prashansa, Kevin, and Hazel.

  • Eld. Menuka Mishra

    Department: New Testament

    Eld. Menuka Mishra is a distinguished scholar specializing in New Testament Studies and Biblical Language. She earned her Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from Presbyterian Theological Seminary in India in 2006. Further advancing her academic pursuits, Eld. Mishra obtained a Th.M. (Master of Theology) degree from Torch Trinity Graduate University in South Korea in 2014.

  • Mr. Jayraj Gurung

    Department: Missions

    Rev. Jayaraj Gurung serves as the Director of Christian Education and Children’s Ministry at EPCoN/RPS. He holds a Th.M. degree in Mission, showcasing his specialization in this area. With his leadership role in ministry, Rev. Gurung plays a vital role in nurturing the spiritual growth of the congregation. He is a devoted husband and proud father of two children, balancing his personal and professional commitments with grace and dedication.

  • Rev. Milan Tamang

    Department: Old Testament

    Rev. Milan Tamang (commonly known as Mark) serves as the Academic Dean at RPS (Reformed Presbyterian Seminary), overseeing academic programs and faculty. With his expertise in Old Testament studies and theological education, he plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing a robust academic curriculum. Rev. Milan ensures the maintenance of high academic standards and fosters an enriching learning environment for students pursuing theological studies at RPS.

  • Eld. Umesh Chemjong

    Department: Practical Ministry

    Eld. Umesh Chemjong is a distinguished scholar specializing in the field of Practical Theology. He holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from Presbyterian Theological Seminary in India, which he earned in 2006. Additionally, he obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree from Garhwal University in India in 2008.

  • Rev. Narbu Sherpa

    Department: Practical Theology

    Ps. Narbu Sherpa specializes in Practical Theology, Spiritual Formation, and Nepali Church History. He holds a Master of Theology and Master of Divinity (Th..M and M.Div.) degree from Torch Trinity Graduate University in South Korea. With expertise in practical theology, he helps individuals integrate their faith into daily life, while his knowledge of Nepali Church History offers valuable insights. Ps. Narbu Sherpa has taught  Spiritual Formation and Nepali Church History, guiding individuals on their faith journey.

  • Mr. Lalhruaitluanga

    Department: Old Testament

    Mr. Lalhruaitluanga is a knowledgeable and dedicated individual with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.) degree from Aizawl Theological College, India, earned in 2015. He continued his academic journey and obtained a Master of Theology (M.Th.) degree from the same institution in 2018. With a strong foundation in religious studies and biblical interpretation, he exemplifies a commitment to scholarship and a passion for theology. Lalhruaitluanga’s expertise and educational background position him as a capable and well-rounded individual in his field.

  • Rev. Mani Koirala

    Department: Theology

    Rev. Chundamani Koirala, the former principal and academic dean of Reformed Presbyterian Seminary and founding pastor of Logos Church in Kathmandu, Nepal, holds a Master of Divinity degree from ACTS, South Korea, and a Master of Theology degree from Calvin Theological Seminary, USA. Currently, he is on sabbatical leave starting this semester. With his extensive theological education and leadership experience, Rev. Chundamani Koirala has made significant contributions to the seminary, church, and religious community in Nepal.

  • Dr. Arbin Pokharel

    Department: Theology

    Rev. Dr. Arbin Pokharel, the founding pastor of Cross-Way Church in Kathmandu, Nepal, has dedicated 18 years of service to Reformed & Presbyterian Seminary (RPS), including 10 years as principal and seven years as the board president. He holds a Masters in Theological Studies (MTS) from Calvin Theological Seminary and a Doctorate in Ministry (DMin) from Fuller Theological Seminary. With his extensive experience and academic achievements, Rev. Dr. Arbin Pokharel has made a significant impact on the spiritual landscape of Nepal.

  • Dr. Sashi Kumar Bhattrai

    Department: Practical Ministry

    Dr. Sashi Kumar Bhattrai is an esteemed Senior Pastor and dedicated leader. With a Doctor of Divinity degree, he coordinates Church planting ministry and serves as Board Chair for Nepal Campus Crusade for Christ. As a Bible college teacher, he imparts knowledge to aspiring religious leaders. Additionally, Dr. Bhattrai contributes as a board member of RPS (Reformed & Presbyterian Seminary), exemplifying his commitment to practical ministry and his significant impact on the religious community.

  • Dr. Prem Subedi

    Department: Practical Ministry

    Dr. Ganga Subedi, also known as Prem, holds a Ph.D. in Development Studies and has a strong background in rural social development. With experience in government, NGOs, and INGOs, he has contributed to poverty alleviation and socio-economic development. Currently serving as the CEO of Cross Reformed Centre, he brings expertise in microfinance, community organizing, disaster response, and a Christian perspective on poverty and development.

  • Rev. Santosh Khatiwada

    Department: Old Testament/Biblical Studies

    Ps. Santosh Khatiwada is a dynamic religious leader with an M.Div. degree from Acts, South Korea. He serves as the Program Coordinator at Timothy Leadership Training, facilitating leadership development programs. Ps. Khatiwada has been mentored through the Wilberforce International Institute, enhancing his ministry skills. He is the Founder and CEO of the Full Life Training Center, equipping individuals for a fulfilling life of service and faith.

  • Mr. Prabin Karmacharya

    Mr. Prabin Karmacharya has earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Youth Ministry and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Christian Leadership. Through his educational pursuits, he demonstrates a strong commitment to equipping and guiding young individuals on their spiritual path.     Mrs. Sabina Thapa is a dedicated individual with a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Christian Education from Torch Trinity in South Korea. Her educational background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of Christian education. Additionally, she serves as a board secretary at Naya Jyoti, demonstrating her commitment to supporting and facilitating the organization’s mission.     Mrs. Hla Hla Karmacharya holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English with a specialization in Horns. She further pursued her studies and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English. In addition to her expertise in the English language, she also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Youth Ministry, focusing on equipping and guiding young individuals in their faith journeys. Furthermore, Mrs. Karmacharya has a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree in Biblical Studies, demonstrating her in-depth knowledge of the Scriptures and their application in ministry.

    Ms. Sunmi Paik holds a Master’s degree in Music Education from the Korea National University of Education (2017) and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Education, specializing in Music Education, at the same institution. Her research and expertise focus on the impact of music on students’ cognitive and emotional development, and she is dedicated to improving educational experiences through music.

    Mr. Ranjit Magar holds a Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) degree in Church Music from Reformed & Presbyterian Seminary in Nepal, which he earned in 2017. With a specialized focus on church music, Mr. Magar is equipped with the knowledge and skills to lead and enhance worship experiences within the context of the church. His educational background reflects his passion for music and his commitment to serving the community through his musical talents.

  • Mr. Sagar Pradhan

    Department: Church Music

    Mr. Sagar Pradhan holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Ethnomusicology from Kathmandu University in Nepal, which he obtained in 2009. Additionally, he has received training in Pops Contemporary Music from Shobi College of Music in 2015 and Jazz Orchestration from Yamaha Music School in the same year. With his diverse educational background and specialized knowledge in various genres of music, Mr. Sagar Pradhan brings a wealth of expertise to his musical endeavors.

    Mr. Binod Rai is an assistant faculty member at RPS (Reformed Presbyterian Seminary) and also serves as the Director of Reformed Book House. Mr. Binod Rai actively contributes to the academic and spiritual growth of students at the seminary.

    Department: Practical Theology

    Rev. Philip Jarga Magar holds a Th.M. degree in Practical Theology, specializing in Hermeneutics. As a skilled religious leader, he applies his expertise in practical theology and hermeneutics to guide and support his congregation effectively. Rev. Magar’s commitment to theological scholarship and practical application enhances his ministry, promoting spiritual growth within the community.

    Mr. Yonah Thami holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Sociology from Tribhuwan University. He also completed a Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) degree in 2017 and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from Reformed & Presbyterian Seminary.

    Arjun Shrestha is a dedicated theologian with a passion for teaching and guiding the youth. He pursued his Theological studies at the Reformed & Presbyterian Seminary, Kathmandu Institute of Theology, and the Himalayan Graduate School in Kathmandu, Nepal. As an Assistant Teacher for Youth Ministry and a Teacher and Trainer for Christ’s Church in Nepal, Arjun brings his knowledge and experience to shape the lives of young individuals, fostering their spiritual growth and nurturing their faith.

    Mr. Binod Magar has attained both a Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) and a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Reformed & Presbyterian Seminary in Nepal. He completed his B.Th. in 2017 and his M.Div. in 2023. With a specialized focus on church music, Mr. Magar brings a deep understanding of musical worship and its significance in the life of the church. His dual degree demonstrates his dedication to enhancing worship experiences and serving the community through his musical talents.
