With a wealth of experience, he has served as the Former Principal and Board Chairman of the Reformed and Presbyterian Seminary, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the institution’s educational and theological direction. Additionally, Dr. Pokharel serves as the Senior Pastor and Chairman of the Nepali Reformed Church (Cross Way Community Church), providing spiritual leadership and nurturing a strong sense of community among the congregation. His academic accomplishments include earning a Doctor of Ministry degree with a focus on Nepali Ecclesiology, showcasing his deep understanding and expertise in the study of the church and its practices within the Nepali context.   • Rev. Jayraj Gurung

    Rev. Jayaraj Gurung is a highly esteemed figure who serves as the Director of CE & CM (Christian Education and Children’s Ministry) at the Reformed and Presbyterian Seminary (RPS). He is also a key leader within the Evangelical Presbyterian Churches of Nepal (EPCoN), playing a significant role in shaping the direction and vision of the organization. With over 22 years of ministry experience in Nepal, Rev. Gurung brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his roles. His educational background includes an MA and M.Div. from the Kathmandu Institute of Theology (KIT) and a Th.M. in Mission from Calvin Theological Seminary. As a teacher, leader, and former member of The Navigators, Rev. Jayaraj Gurung’s dedication and passion for ministry have had a profound impact on the growth and development of the church in Nepal.

He served as the Academic Dean and Principal of the RPS (Reformed and Presbyterian Seminary) from 2020 to 2023, where he played a crucial role in shaping the academic and administrative aspects of the institution. Additionally, Rev. Koirala serves as the Senior Pastor of Nepal Logos Church, providing spiritual guidance and leadership to the congregation. He also holds the position of Editor of “Restorers,” the official publication of RPS, where he contributes to the dissemination of theological knowledge and insights. Rev. Koirala’s educational background includes an M.Div., an M.A., and a Th.M. in Systematic Theology from Calvin Seminary in Grand Rapids. His theological expertise and dedication to ministry have had a profound impact on both the seminary and the church community he serves.

  • Rev. Amit Karthak

    Rev. Amit Karthak is a highly esteemed individual who has made significant contributions within the Reformed and Presbyterian community. Serving as the Principal of the Reformed & Presbyterian Seminary in two separate terms (2013-2016 and from 2023 to the present), he has played a vital role in shaping the institution’s academic and theological direction. Additionally, Rev. Karthak serves as a Pastor at the Cross Way Community Church, providing spiritual guidance and leadership to the congregation. He also holds the position of Director of Words of Hope, Nepal, a ministry dedicated to spreading the message of hope through various means. Rev. Karthak’s academic achievements include an M.Div. and a Th.M. in Moral & Philosophical Theology. His passion for theological education is evident through his role as a teacher, specializing in Systematic Theology, Reformed Theology, and Philosophy for understanding theology. Rev. Amit Karthak’s leadership, theological expertise, and dedication to ministry have made a lasting impact on both the seminary and the church community he serves.

  • Ms. Seeta Gurung

    Ms. Seeta Gurung is a dedicated and valued member of the NIM Dhobighat Lalitpur community, serving as an Elder. With a deep commitment to her faith and church, she actively participates in various areas of ministry and leadership. Alongside her spiritual responsibilities, Ms. Gurung holds an M.Sc. in Human Resource Development, showcasing her expertise in this field. Within the church, she contributes her skills in church administration and finance, ensuring the smooth operation of the organization. Furthermore, Ms. Gurung actively engages in children’s education, teaching, and preaching, imparting valuable knowledge and nurturing the spiritual growth of young minds. Through her diverse involvement, Ms. Seeta Gurung exemplifies a true servant-leader, playing an integral role in the holistic development of the church community.

Dr. Bhattarai’s dedication to the growth and advancement of Christianity is further exemplified by his position as the Board Chair of Nepal Campus Crusade for Christ, where he provides strategic direction and oversight to this influential Christian organization.
